Be Open to the Lessons that Teach You Who You Are
" Promise me you'll always remember: You're braver than you believe, and stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think." - A.A. Milne (Christopher Robin to Winnie-the-Pooh)
Who would think that such inspiration would come from a children's book? Yet wisdom and inspiration are all around us. We simply need to open our minds and hearts to the many lessons that come to us. The thoughts we "broadcast" are like S.O.S's. With every thought we tell the Universe what we want to learn. It delivers the answers every time. They are not always blatant. Often times they are cryptic and veiled, coming to us as a quote from a book, a remark from a child or stranger or even a billboard. As mysterious as they seem they are never missed when we sharpen our awareness and drop our ego.
The wisdom for each of us is to be aware to all the instances we encounter in a day and extract the wisdom from each of them. Most importantly is to curb our ego and think that we know better than the Universe. Becoming aware of the gifts we are attracting is the start of a magnificent life.
Our minds are absolutely amazing. They create whatever we wish: despair or hope, ignorance or ideas, fear or Love. Thankfully we have our hearts to set the truth free; that we are amazingly powerful. Our hearts and minds together create our future. It only happens when we remember who we are.
So follow the sage words of a boy talking to a bear. Believe that you are brave, strong and smart and that is exactly what you will experience.
