699: 5 Words that are the Basis for a Beautiful Life

Hello, World!

Today I am not sure how I got to the podcast topic I did, but I sure am glad that it happened.  For the past week I have been thinking about why people say that they want one thing and do everything that is in opposition to that goal.

The only thing I can think of is that people are unaware of their values, the things that matter to them.  For instance, if you say you want this to be the year that you lose weight and you have taken no steps to change that or have even altered your eating in a negative direction, it's pretty clear that you are not going to lose weight, and back to my original premise, the idea of not losing weight was not truly important or it would have been nurtured.

I came across the seven deadly sins and wanted to talk about how avoiding them leads to a happier life.  Then I thought it was way too religious.  Then, as I was looking through my idea book I came upon a note, 5 words that make up my life.  I thought that if they could help me then possibly they could help you too.
