We all know that money doesn't buy happiness.  Well, at least hopefully the majority of us do.  However, those who hope to use a session of retail therapy to cure their blues would be better off spending their income on experiences instead of objects.

Research has concluded that both experiences and objects have the ability to make us happy but one of those two fades over time, while the other grows.
