270: The Reasons You Stay In a Job You Hate

Listen to this episode and all others below

"There is no passion in playing small, in settling for a life that is less than you are capable of living" - Nelson Mandela

If you have a job the general consensus is that you should hold on to it tooth and nail.  In this economy it would be foolish to quit a job.  Well, the he** with the media campaign about mediocrity.  The economy is no worse then any other time and to hold on to a job out of fear is just silly. ( I was going to use a harsher word but it is a G show!)

Your wellbeing and happiness is paramount.  As one writer put it, this is not life 1.0.  You don't get another one.  Settling is not an option.

Listen to how to combat those tough feelings of job frustration as I detail the reasons you stay in a job you hate.

Topics Discussed in the Episode

  • How to deal with frustration while you investigate other options
  • The reality of what your family needs
  • Why fear shouldn't stop you
  • Which is more important, money or happiness?
