193: Six Qualities of Really Good Friends

Listen to this episode and all others below:

“The glory of friendship is not the outstretched hand, not the kindly smile, nor the joy of companionship.  It is the spiritual inspiration that comes to one when you discover that someone believes in you and is willing to trust you with a friendship"- Ralph Waldo Emerson

Whether you are a parent, entrepreneur or psychologist almost everyone agrees that the people you hang out with shape the life you live.  If you hang around people who are discouraging or negative, your ability to believe in yourself or your dreams is almost nonexistent.

Consequently the people who have made huge advancements in their lives and the lives of others have done so by choosing their friends carefully.  In the world of social media the word "friend" is thrown around with a startling lack of thought.  A person with an index finger capable of clicking a button on a web page could become your next friend.
