189: Brotherhood Week: Anatomy of Conflict, Part One

LISTEN TO THIS EPISODE AND ALL OTHERS BELOW

It seems only logical that I would end the series on brotherhood by discussing conflict resolution. I certainly talked about the more spiritual benefits of connecting with your fellow man and woman.  But we are on earth, in a human body.  Conflicts may arise, and in those situations it is going to be most serving to find constructive ways to deal with them.

That is why today and tomorrow I am going to discuss the anatomy of conflicts and the best ways to resolve them.

Quote of the day

"I am a woman in process.  I'm just trying like everyone else.  I try to take every conflict, every experience and grow from them.  Life is never dull" - Oprah Winfrey

Topics Discussed

  • The five components of conflict
  • Why conflict is not always bad
  • the 5 Strategies for dealing with conflict

Question of the Day

When a conflict arises, which is more important to you, the benefit of the group or getting your way? Be honest.
