107: The Physiology of Smiling

Did you know that extensive research has been done on the practice of smiling?  Not only has it been done, it is still going on.  The reason is clear' there are so many biological processes that happen when you smile.  It isn't simply a symbol of happiness it creates happiness.

Smiling increases heart heath, reduces stress and makes us more attractive.  Studies have also linked it to a greater life expectancy.  With all that going on, why wouldn't you smile?
