148: The Calm of an Evening Routine

LISTEN TO THIS EPISODE AND ALL OTHERS BELOW

QUOTE OF THE DAY

"Night, the beloved. Night, when words fade and things come alive. When the destructive analysis of day is done, and all that is truly important becomes whole and sound again. When man reassembles his fragmentary self and grows with the calm of a tree" - Antoine de Saint-Exupery

You hear so many times about the importance of a morning routine but you don't hear alot what to do in the evening, until now.  You spend at least (hopefully) seven hours of sleep a night.  You need to make sure you do everything to make those hours count.  An evening routine will not only assure that but also allow you to wake up ready to tackle a new day.

Today's episode focuses on how to close the day peacefully, plan for the next one and sleep like a baby in between.

Topics Covered

  • The Benefits of an Evening Routine
  • How to Get a Good Night Sleep
  • Foods to avoid for a Sound Sleep
