The Annual Podcast Awards

Hey my friends, ZEN Commuter is up for consideration at the Annual Podcast Awards for best Religion/Inspiration podcast of 2014.  I would be so grateful to have you nominate me for that prestigious honor.  If you truly love ZEN commuter and feel it has made your life better, then by all means please nominate ZEN commuter at the link below.  You can only nominate me once but that will be greatly appreciated.

Nominate ZEN commuter

The biggest change in my Life has come from assessing what is needed and what is not.  Each of us, Americans anyway, have way too much stuff.  None of the reasons lead to a happier and more satisfying life.

We are barraged my messages all around us that the path to happiness is paved with owning things, more things, flashier things, more expensive things.

Nothing could be further from the truth.  There is liberation in freeing yourself of stuff you are simply holding on to and not using.  Mark Manson does a great job of detailing it all in today's ZEN commuter.

Topics Discussed

  • The Annual Podcast Awards
  • An article about minimalism by Mark Manson
  • How to lean down from stuff you don't use
  • An overview of aversion loss

Question of the Day

What is one thing you own that you never use?
