1048: The Challenges of Meditating in the Heat, and How to Overcome Them

Today it got to be 96 degrees here in Nashua, NH in the United States.  I'm sure that listeners in warmer climates or even on the other side of the country might be calling me a dainty little flower. :o)

The truth is, I am not a fan of the heat.  It turns usually happy-go-lucky Thom into a cranky misanthrope.  Okay, maybe that's an overstatement, but I am less chipper.  Of course, the heat could derail your meditation practice if you let it.  But like the bygone Ringling Brothers Circus and the U.S. Mail, the show must go on.  So how do you get it done?  Pour a tall glass of lemonade and put your feet up; I'm about to tell you.
