1011: How Meditation Positively Alters Your Brain to Increase Focus

This week I wanted to take a very western view of meditation and discuss the ways in which meditation enhances the lives of practitioners.  More specifically, this week I am going to talk about the physiological benefits of meditation, without the inclusion of spirituality.  However, understand that I have no allegiance to either form of meditation, western or eastern, and will be spending next week extolling the more spiritual side of meditation.  Today's emphasis is on how meditation changes the structure of the brain to enhance focus.
